This beautiful boy was born today and we are so excited to have another cousin join the family!! Xo

Because I’m fwree, I will wake up before everyone else and call from my cage for Momma and Dada, until I fall back to sleep due to being ignored.

Because I’m fwree, I will dress myself in the same outfit, over and over, inside out and stained, because I love the soft pants and pocket on my tee.

Because I’m fwree, I will carry (or rather YOU will carry) pink blankey, big white blankey, mimi #1, #2, and #3 downstairs so I can wake up cozily.

Because I’m fwree, I will help make each meal for myself, detailing my demands for you, and then not eat any of it.  I am bored by your allegiance, Momma.

Because I’m fwree, I will climb up on any surface to reach whatever you claim I cannot have.

Because I am fwree, I will refuse a nap but happily sleep sitting up in my carseat on an afternoon errand or while I watch a show as you prepare dinner…but I am getting better at falling asleep at night (maybe that’s because of the medicine I love to take…)

Because I am fwree, I will want a bath every night but not any soap.

Because I am fwree, I will share (LOUDLY) my displeasure at your faulty idea that you are in charge of me.

Because I am fwree, and the cutest ever, I will do all this and you will love me more because I won’t be fwree forever.

Household sickness level is decreasing but my energy is so low I don’t have it in me to share much of our day.  Everyone had a good laugh at dinner tonight as Emmy told Ollie to keep his eyes peeled, he peeled his eyelids back and everyone told me they were using idioms :-):-):-)

Oliver:

Our afternoon project was breaking out the gingerbread house kits.  More sprinkles and frosting ended up inside Emmy than on her house and Ollie left the table saying he didn’t need any more sugar today.  I found a mimi lying near the display as I cleaned up the dinner table…I will need to find a new spot.  Something tells me Emmy was up to her old sugar-loving tricks sometime between the start of dinner and bedtime.

Lily finished Dianthus the Unicorn with white sparkles and bright blue eyes.  She created more art the past two days and got to share all her creations from class with Sam.  For the time being most of her pieces are hung in her room under the heading:  Lily’s Art Gallery.  I will post pics of all tomorrow!

What I mean to say is a little popcorn and hot tea and The Good Wife…some relaxing for me!

Little Em rebounded today after being down with the ear infection/cough/cold for a few days. She was her old self, though surprisingly energetic. Perhaps it was the all day sleep of Sunday?  She made it to school where, sadly her little BFF is absent. He has gone on a trip to India. Now Emmy is reporting to everyone that she will be going to India. Maybe after Christmas. 🎄🐘🎄🐘

Ollie burned his nose by getting to close a sniff of the gingerbread scone fresh from the oven. Only Ollie would end up with a burn in this way. Nothing a little scone and candy cane couldn’t remedy.
